Mrs. Niken, the Vice Chairman of Himpunan Desain Interior Indonesia Jawa Timur (HDII Jatim) visited LaSalle College Surabaya a few days ago.
During her visit, she and other HDII members, like Mr hari Santoso, Mr Lucky Basuki and Mr Frenky Tanaya took the chance to take a look at some of our students work. In addition, they also discussed the opportunity of collaboration between Eastern Java HDII and LaSalle College Surabaya. This organization also serves as a place for students of Interior Design especially, to actualize themselves outside the school.
LaSalle College Surabaya presented the Artistic Makeup workshop at SMAK Santo Yusup Malang
A very good impression when artistic makeup workshop in one of the famous school in Malang, on 11 December 2015, with the theme of “beauty class”. The theme is taken to the workshop today was inspired from student experienced. As one example of the problem is about how to make eyebrows? That whereas the eyebrows in fur texture have very thin. Or even there’s a question that’s very familiar, such as how to make eye liner? How makeup to cover an acne? And much more.
Malang Fashion Festival 2015 is a fashion show that organized by young people who are interested and concerned with the progress of fashion in Malang.
Not only that, Surabaya designers attended the Malang Fashion Festival 2015, such as Djoerwardi Denny, chairman of the East Java APPMI and Elok Rege Napio is one Surabaya designer who focused on kebaya and also displayed 10 works best. Diverse of themes raised in Malang Fashion Festival 2015.
Congratulations! Forty two graduates have accomplished diploma and certificate education at LaSalle College Surabaya.
This also signified the most graduates in the ten years of LaSalle College Surabaya’s existence. Four best graduates were chosen: Most Contributive Graduate was Talitha Fairuz, position for Best Portfolio was secured by Inas Fatina, Favorite Graduate by Dinda Gadis Prakasiwi, and the spot for Best Graduate was Citra Yohana’s.
LaSalle College Surabaya Participated in the Ciputra World Fashion Week 2015 event with the theme of The Portrait Of Love.
An annual event which was held by Ciputra World Mall in Surabaya, namely Ciputra World Fashion Week 2015 lasts for 4 days started from 16th – 20th September 2015. This event is always followed by many well-known Indonesian and international designers and fashion schools, especially in Surabaya region. The theme of LaSalle College Surabaya was The Portrait of Love by Frida Kahlo, not many people knew who the Frida Kahlo is, Frida Kahlo was a Mexican Painter who is best known for her self-portraits. Self-portraits were a dominant motif and then she had a love story with Diego Rivera. Kahlo once said “I paint myself Because I am so Often alone and Because I am the subject I know best”.
Aisyah Laila of LaSalle College Indonesia student just launched her Brand and her new beautiful Eyelashes product at Honey & Me Cafe.
Aisyah and her team invited some media, family, friends and also her teachers from high school and college to present in her new product launch. LaSalle College Indonesia is very pleased to be able to be part of her journey, and we also always support what our student are doing in reaching success. In interviewed with her, she said that she focuses with the eyelashes product because she thought it is very important in make up components. According to her, eye is a center of attention people who see us directly. She also said that she really wants to become a make up artistprofessional and known throughout the world.
LaSalle College Surabaya was successfully held the Fashion Bloom 2015 with theme of Geotribes
Fashion Bloom 2015 ended on Sunday night 24 May 2015 with nearly 20 millions of rupiah generated from students goods sales, one confirmed enrolment (Interior student), some hot admission prospects, better public awareness of our school and positive spirit toward better LaSalle.
The event would not happen without the dedicated army of teachers.
